Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
- Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
- Transfer to a hotel in Moshi for orientation and equipment check.
- Overnight stay in Moshi.
Day 2: Umbwe Gate to Umbwe Camp
- Transfer to Umbwe Gate, complete registration, and meet your guides and porters.
- Begin your challenging trek through dense rainforest to reach Umbwe Camp.
- Overnight camping.
Day 3: Umbwe Camp to Barranco Camp
- Continue your journey through the rainforest, transitioning into the heath and moorland zone.
- Arrive at Barranco Camp, nestled under the Great Barranco Wall.
- Overnight camping.
Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
- Tackle the exhilarating Barranco Wall, a highlight of the trek.
- Trek to Karanga Camp, enjoying magnificent views of the southern ice fields.
- Overnight camping.
Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
- Ascend to Barafu Camp, your final stop before the summit.
- Take time to rest, hydrate, and prepare for your summit attempt. Overnight camping.
Day 6: Summit Day – Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak and Descent to Mweka Camp
- Start your summit attempt at midnight, reaching Uhuru Peak at sunrise.
- Descend back to Barafu Camp and continue down to Mweka Camp.
- Celebrate your achievement with an overnight stay at Mweka Camp.
Day 7: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate and Return to Moshi
- Complete your descent to Mweka Gate, where you’ll receive your summit certificates.
- Transfer back to your hotel in Moshi for a well-deserved rest and celebration. Overnight stay in Moshi.
