Mount Kilimanjaro Trekking Packages

Routes to the Summit

Lemosho Route:
The Lemosho Route offers a longer trek than many alternatives, allowing for quieter hiking and ample time for acclimatization. Starting from Londorossi Gate, trekkers can enjoy diverse landscapes and potential wildlife sightings on the first day.

Machame Route:
Approaching Kilimanjaro from the southwest, the Machame Route is a popular choice for those seeking a challenge. Over six days, climbers traverse lush rainforests and alpine moorlands, benefiting from extended acclimatization opportunities.

Marangu Route:
Known as the “Coca-Cola Route,” the Marangu Route is favored for its hut accommodations and gradual ascent. This route also allows for extra acclimatization time, enhancing climbers’ chances of reaching the snow-capped summit.

Rongai Route:
The Rongai Route approaches Kilimanjaro from the north, providing a more remote experience. Trekkers can expect to see Colobus monkeys and elephants on lower slopes while enjoying both rainforest and moorland landscapes.

Umbwe Route:
The Umbwe Route is recognized as the most scenic yet challenging path on Kilimanjaro. Its steep and muddy trails are suited only for well-trained mountaineers, making it a demanding trek that rewards with stunning views.
